big, small kids go ape
twenty-one people
family dinner, our house
wii is a big hit
new snowfall, new sled
no school, hill in park beckons
crystal holiday
sister turns forty
vegas bound with three siblings
four women, no kids
forty-eight hours there
minimal sleep, much laughing
grateful sisters, we
new year, new work boss
same company, still same job
some things never change
first time on cruise ship
western Caribbean tour
three women, no kids, FUN!
biking in jungle
sea kayaking, Mexico
sunburn in Feb? ouch!
kindergarten son
can't sit still, pay attention
teacher, mom concerned
dad says: "he's just six!
all boys wiggle, goof off, laugh"
principal not pleas'd
daughter doing fine
fourth grade math, fifth grade science
tenth grade books, big words
both kids in training
attorneys we are raising
always rebuttals
new quarter, new boss
this one from previous life
all is well again
travel for work, first time
redeploy software, learn lots
six days not enough
sister doing well
cancer survivor, four years
single mom okay
son of same sister
just eleven, cancer now
tumor in right leg
chemo to shrink it
surgery, then more chemo
long dark road ahead
younger brother, nine
stays with us while mom and bro
battle the cancer
prognosis is good
disease has not spread to lungs
grateful for doctors
my kids change daycare
after nine years, sad for me
like leaving fam'ly
new daycare costs less
better programs, kids are fine
cousin joins them too
anniversary
mine: sixteen; parents: fifty
small party to plan
yay! bicycle fixed!
gas prices rise; bike to work?
need some practice first
son plays tee-ball now
daughter in fencing class too
swimming? not this year
husband volleyball
two nights a week, bad knee hurts
maybe surgery?
brace on, meds to take
team not happy with slow healing
time to take up golf
posting done for now
sleep needed, work tomorrow

Anne-Sorry to take so long to respond to this post. What a busy six months you've had! Much more eventful than my own. I'm sorry about your nephew's cancer. I hope that's going better.
I have never been on a cruise ship before myself. I keep trying to encourage my parents to go (and take me too!)
I hope things are going well for you this month and thanks for all your wonderful comments.

Oh, Anne, I will be catching up with all this. I would check periodically, but it seems that life has kept me from my regular rounds lately.
Thank you, thank you for your comments on my blog. I so appreciate your opinion and your even-handedness. As I think I said, I'm pretty cool and collected unless it concerns my family or my politics, and then I just get too emotional. Or too obsessed, or something. I would SUCKED at the small experience I had with debate, because I just get too worked up to be an effective communicator. That's why I like blogging - I have a little more time to get my thoughts together.
Anyway - you're right. It is more interesting now. That said, I still hope that Obama wins ;)
But apparently, not enough time to edit myself. I meant to say that "I SUCKED", not that "I would SUCKED". Maybe the only thing that gets me more emotional than politics or my family, is my use of poor grammar!
